We slaan met Hillewaere Groep de handen in elkaar met Groep Garant uit Limburg. Hierdoor versterken we niet alleen de aanwezigheid op de Limburgse markt, maar kan Groep Garant, bestaande uit oorspronkelijk zes makelaarskantoren en zelf gefusioneerd eind 2022, ook verdere groei garanderen. “Dankzij deze consolidatie is er ruimte voor een nóg betere dienstverlening met aandacht voor lokale verankering”, zo stellen we allebei.

Om onze groei te vieren en onze medewerkers te belonen voor alle inspanningen, trokken we vorige week met Hillewaere ‘on tour’. Door de vele overnames van de voorbije maanden, groeide ons personeelsbestand in geen tijd uit tot maar liefst 200 medewerkers. Om van hen één ploeg te smeden die dezelfde missie en visie onderschrijft, kregen al onze kantoren bezoek van onze ‘gewrapte Hillewaere bus’.

We worden met Hillewaere Groep voor de komende 10 jaar de exclusieve licentiepartner van Christie's International Real Estate. Dit betekent dat we, als jarenlange gevestigde waarde in het residentieel vastgoed, als enige het exclusieve aanbod luxevastgoed op de Belgische markt mogen brengen onder het label Christie's International Real Estate. Tegelijkertijd krijgen we ook toegang tot het internationale netwerk van Christie's International Real Estate. Het Amerikaanse bedrijf Christie's is wereldwijd ook gekend als toonaangevend veilinghuis.

Dit was ons Hillewaere feest. Een schitterende avond tijdens welke we samen reflecteerden over waar we vandaag staan en hoe we ons toekomstbeeld zien. Om nadien uiteraard ook een fantastisch feestje te bouwen met ons Hillewaerdig topteam. De toekomst creëren door hem zelf uit te vinden, dat is #helemaalhillewaere.

We acquire with Hillewaere Group the 2 Antwerp insurance offices ICS Insurances from Schilde and DOM nv from Kontich. Thanks to these acquisitions, we increase our footprint in Flanders and Brussels, expand our expertise and bring the number of locations to 20. Hillewaere Group thus gains 25 employees and increases our turnover by EUR 3 million to EUR 27 million. The directors within the acquired offices will become partners in the Hillewaere Group, thus also contributing to our growth story.

We have successfully completed our initial acquisition plans with Hillewaere Group, acquiring a total of seven insurance offices in Flanders and Brussels. Thanks to this substantial expansion, we immediately double in size, to 200 employees and a turnover of EUR 24 million.

Merchant bank Rothschild & Co is taking a majority stake in Hillewaere Group. The two parties have just concluded an agreement to that effect. Specifically, Rothschild & Co is stepping into the capital of the Antwerp-based real estate and insurance specialist via Five Arrows Principal Investments (FAPI). With the investment, FAPI aims to grow further in the European insurance and real estate sector. The management of Hillewaere Group will remain in the hands of CEO and founder Roel Druyts.
